A vintage soup ladle featuring a delicate hand-cut shatter pattern.
The Petri Dish series “turns the bowl of the spoon into a site of change,” becoming a medium for experimentation much like its namesake. Using a jewelry sawblade, Brian cuts delicate asymmetrical, fractal patterns into the spoons — a process that is especially difficult because of the uneven surface and changing thickness of the metal throughout the bowl of the spoon.
- Repurposed Silver-plated Flatware
- Measures 6" Long & 2.5" Wide
- One of a Kind
